The recruiter from Bangalore called me for a position that was listed as a remote position. However, she said it was a mistake and it is not a remote position.
She asked about my current salary, which I refused to tell, and then she changed her tone. She said, "It is India and not the US." She asked my expected salary. When I revealed my expected salary, she said, "We can't give more than some very low number."
She wasn’t even aware of my profile and my experience. So unprofessional! I have never experienced such rude and bad behavior by any recruiter to date.
