The interview process with Replit was great, actually. It was challenging but also very open to interpretation.
Everyone was incredibly friendly, but there were some red flags that came up. It seems like Replit is currently in a "go fast and break things" mentality. They also made it very clear that their current velocity does not lend itself to employees creating a strong work-life balance.
My issue with the company is its CEO, who has written an ideological manifesto about tech practices and behaviors. In essence, he has created a hard-coded Company Culture guide that is compulsory. This is very odd, as something as interpersonal as company culture should be curated but organic in nature.
I do not remember any.
