A recruiter approached me after finding my profile on LinkedIn. After some thought, I accepted a first screening interview.
What a waste of my time.
The interviewer was overtly rude. He hadn't spent time reading my profile beforehand and asked basic questions already answered there.
After some discussion about my professional experience, he abruptly started asking software trivia questions, such as what CRUD or ACID stand for. After I missed some of the acronym definitions, he read the correct definition in a very patronizing tone.
What nerve for a non-technical interviewer.
I decided to immediately withdraw from the process, recognizing a major red flag of a potential "meat grinder" I was heading toward.
What does CRUD stand for?
What does ACID stand for?
What is a database transaction?
