Cons

Although I worked hard and achieved all my goals in my second quarter, I didn't pass the probation period. In Spain, this means they can let you go for free.

My first quarter didn't go well, but I could recover and implement all the things that were decided I should do at the end of my second quarter. My very founded suspicion is that they hired me for six months, and regardless of my efforts, the decision was made even before hiring me.

I don't know if it was the company's idea to have some work done quickly, or my manager's idea. Either way, the company has allowed for this to happen.

My manager put everything on me, but I completely disagree. In fact, some of my colleagues (those who didn't know about this plan) were shocked by the decision.

My manager lied to me all the time and tried to make me think that not passing the probation period was my fault. But the goals were set, and I achieved them. Those are facts.

People, be aware of this behavior and only think of joining Revolut if they offer you a very good compensation and you have a plan for six months later.

Advice to Management

Please, be honest with people. If you plan to hire someone for a 6-month project, you can pay them well, as you did, but also be honest about that and let people plan their lives and their professional careers. I left a company that I was happy in, as well as a few other interesting offers, and now I've lost all of them.
