Process

A YouTube video accurately discusses Riot's interview process. It begins with a coding test, which I passed.

Following that were the first rounds of technical panels.

Unfortunately, I didn't advance past the technical panels.

However, everyone was friendly and answered all my questions. I received a rejection letter only a few days after the interview.

It was a solid interview where I learned a few things.

Questions

There was an easy/medium level LeetCode question for the coding test. The panel then asked questions about my code, including why I made certain decisions, runtime complexity, and what I could do better.

Next, I was asked some system design questions, such as how REST APIs work, how the Internet works, and a few other similar topics.

What happens when you type riotgames.com into your browser? Go into as much detail as you want.

What is a REST API and how does it work?
