I applied online and completed an easy HackerRank challenge about building a game.
I then had a phone screen with a recruiter to discuss the position, my interests, and past experiences.
The whole process was going well until the recruiter asked if I had any competing deadlines or offers. I shared this information in hopes of expediting the process, but they seemed insulted. I was rejected shortly thereafter.
Overall, the experience caught me off-guard and seemed unprofessional.
