Wifi Test Engineer Interview Experience - Santa Clara, California

Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

Initial round of telephonic interview.

The interviewer was arrogant throughout the entire process. He wanted specific details, not generic explanations. He stressed every word I used in my answers and tried to link them to various terminologies. He didn't exhibit patience or interview the candidate with genuine interest. It seemed as though he was assigned this interviewing task forcefully.

After barely two questions, he jumped to conclusions about my explanations. This behavior was not what one would expect from an interviewer.

Questions

  1. Explain your project scope.
  2. What role did you play in the team?
  3. Why WiFi when you have multiple options in the market?
  4. Explain MU-MIMO.
  5. Questions related to Spirent C-50, Octoscope, and Chariot.
  6. Explain the RTC and CTS concepts in detail.
