Had a promising start. Failed to deliver.
The culture is cliquey, especially within the Canadian software engineering team. It's incompetent and replete with corporate politics. It won't last much longer; it's only a matter of time before they're bankrupt. The stock value is terrible.
Sell your stocks and jump ship before you go down with it.
Asked questions about projects on the resume, and then went into a LeetCode easy/medium C problem. Gave decent advice and help during the process and allowed time to talk about the problem after finishing the assessment.
Recruiter phone screen. After that, a hiring manager screen. Discussed high-level ideas about a software stack. The interview process took less than two weeks. Got rejected after the hiring manager screen without any feedback.
The overall process was quite comfortable. There were three screens related to different topics. It was not too easy, nor too hard. I would rate it 9/10. The interviewers were kind and open to answer all the questions and doubts I had.
