God-complex with some management, ‘yo-bro’ culture in many teams, strategic vision falling apart, quality issues, financial performance tanking, high layoff rates.
Rivian should be audited by EEO – the number of visa employees who they have complete control over is crazy. 80+% in many departments.
These employees cannot say no or question anything without fear of visa implications. Employees finally are a flash in the pan here – do not expect anything long term from a personal sanity nor from a company solvency perspective.
