I had two phone interviews. The first was about coding questions, and the second was about my previous background and projects. Each was scheduled for one hour, but everything went well, and we finished our discussion within 40 minutes. The recruiting coordinators were very professional and eager to help.

The first round went very well, and I learned a lot about their Data Infrastructure team, which interests me and matches my background very well. I received confirmation for the second round the next day.

The second round went as well as the first. We had a very good discussion about my projects and the job. The interviewer asked many questions about the technical tools and platforms I listed on my resume. I had prepared extensively for these topics and believe I provided correct answers. The interviewer also seemed to indicate that I had performed well. We also talked about their onsite interview process and how to prepare for it. The interviewer also sounded positive about my performance.

However, I did not receive an invitation for the onsite interview, and I felt the second interviewer might have intentionally failed me.

I tried to reach out to the coordinator for more details, but of course, they would not provide such information due to their policy.

If I had failed on any technical or behavioral questions that raised a red flag, I would certainly accept it and focus on better preparation. However, I felt the interviewer failed me due to racial prejudice. If that is the case, I would consider this extremely unprofessional.
