Software Engineer Interview Experience - Menlo Park, California

Process

I went through the entire process and had a very similar experience to some of these recent reviews. Overall, the process was straightforward.

  • Initial phone screen
  • Technical phone screen
  • Onsite
  • Talk with the hiring manager

The experience was pretty good until after the last interview. I was assigned a "lead recruiter" before the on-site who was communicative until after the last interview. This recruiter then went silent for the most part. Emails and calls were completely unanswered. I still have yet to hear anything back, and it's been 8+ weeks.

This is understandable after the first round or two, but it felt diminishing after going through the entire interview process and dedicating so much time towards this company and process.
