Process

I spoke with their engineers at our career fair and did an on-campus interview. A week later, I was contacted about an onsite, which was scheduled a week after that.

When I arrived, there were approximately 10 other people waiting outside for on-site interviews that day.

We went in, met with recruiters, received a quick tour of the office, and had a short, informal chat with the recruiter.

There were three interviews:

  • Algorithms: This focused more on theory.
  • Algorithmic Coding: This involved theory with an implementation, which was expected to compile and run.
  • Coding: This was a HackerRank exercise, which I completed while an engineer watched and I discussed my thoughts. Tests were expected to pass.

In between interviews, the staff were very courteous and showed me some parts of the office I hadn't seen yet.

At the end of the day, there was a quick meeting with HR, and that was it. The day started at 1 p.m., so there was no lunch, though meals were comped for the entire day.
