Great Culture
Software Engineer • Former Employee
Menlo Park, CA
February 4, 2026
Pros: Strong culture and leadership, plus talented engineers.
Cons: I was there from 2022 to 2024. I couldn't think of any cons.

Great user growth, questionable leadership
Software Engineer • Former Employee
March 9, 2021
Pros: An exciting place to be, with lots of growth as more individuals start investing.
Cons: Inadequate senior guidance in engineering. The co-CEOs were often clowny and not serious when they should have been. I know Baiju stepped down.

Least mature engineering culture I have ever seen
Senior Software Engineer • Former Employee
Toronto, ON
January 12, 2026
Pros: They pay a lot of money, but it comes at a cost to your mental health.
Cons: Engineering culture has been ship, ship, ship as fast as possible without ever stopping to clean up after yourself for the 10+ year existence of the company. Consequently, the system architecture is abysmal, everything is on fire all the time, and it's impossible to get anything done.
