Great colleagues to work with, responsible, smart, and many have strong financial knowledge.
The leadership is extremely incompetent for both prod and engineering. There are many frictions in the app that are driving away customers, but no actions from senior leadership level. They only care about launching new features. Yet, the product strategy is not clear, and I don’t see business upside. From the engineering side, there are little efforts in reliability. Senior eng leads were let go. No vision. Lots of SEVs. Senior leadership relies on processes to manage the company, e.g., enforce a minimum number of diffs per month. Instead of building a clear strategy and holding a high bar themselves, the leadership is putting lots of pressure on employees through RIF, PIP, diff count enforcement, RTO, and no wellness days. They don’t care about employees at all. Things are becoming very toxic. Once people were very engaged and committed; now they are only doing their job for job security.
Retain customers first before launching new features. Care about your employees.
Haven't heard back, but Glassdoor doesn't have that option in "Did you get an offer?" First 5 minutes: Tell me about yourself. Next 25 minutes: Basic coding questions on computing fundamentals. Next 30 minutes: One LeetCode Easy and one Medium pro
I applied through a recruiter. - HR round: SQL and Python screening round. - Panel round: Around 4 to 5 interviews. I could not qualify the screening round, which was a LeetCode medium to difficult problem. The questions were not that tough. I answ
I started with an application and received an OA (CodeSignal GCA). This was followed by a phone screen with the recruiter, and then my final round, which was a technical and behavioral interview back-to-back. The entire process spanned about a month.
