Pros: I've been a member of the Roblox community for over 10 years, and getting to contribute to the platform as an engineer is a dream come true!
The atmosphere here is very relaxed and vibrant. There's plenty of heads-down work, but it's also common to see people gathered in the snack room for a lively conversation. The work-life balance here is great.
Cons: It's unclear to me where my career is headed, and the Bay Area is very expensive. Roblox pays well, but I'm only barely profiting while living here.

Pros: We are a vision-driven company with awesome people and an awesome mission. I love the team I work with and the transparency and openness in the company. I work with some of the smartest and most creative people I have ever known. The company really focuses on trying to hire great people and then gives them autonomy.
Cons: You need to be self-organizing and participate in your own career growth.
