The first step of the interview process was four online tests.
There were:
- Two games
- One coding assessment
- One decision-making assessment
All together, it took a few hours. It was a bit hard to tell if you had done well on the games and what they were looking for.

Cons: - Poor community engagement.
- Dated tools.
- Little to no investment in the development process, leading to lots of dumb bugs as a result.
- A massive divide between departments causes friction.
- Commitment to backwards compatibility forever harms the platform.
- No prioritization of power user needs.

Pros: - Lots of room for new ideas. The tech is fairly new and broad, and there is minimal bureaucracy and approval processes.
- Talent is rewarded.
- Smart coworkers.
- Transparency about company strategies all the way from exec level. Company meetings every week where all details of the business and financials are discussed.
Cons: This company isn't great for people who are just out of school. The expectation is that you take educating and training yourself into your own hands, which could be a bit of a challenge to some. If you do not possess the knowledge and the talent to be a good problem solver, don't expect management to train you on solving things.

Pros: Fast-paced, yet in a good way. That is, without the bad aspects like "breaking things," people being jerks, or a poor work-life balance. Actually, we keep getting additional days off called "recharge days." Some are company-wide, and others are given when the team achieves something.
Cons: The cons of a company being at a growing stage, with evolving infrastructure and tooling. If you want Google-level tooling (I loved it when I was at Google), then you have to go to Google, or maybe Facebook. If you don't mind being scrappy while building something great, then come to Roblox.
