Interesting problems and exciting industry

Pros: Lots of vertical integration, so many opportunities to solve problems at the infra layer, platform/tooling layer, and application layer.
The breadth of engineering is refreshing and similar to big tech, but without as large of an engineering org in sheer numbers, so impact is readily available.
Cons: Difficulty getting clarity and alignment with leadership on product roadmap and priorities. Shifting direction can cause thrash on product teams and result in a more stressful environment.
