Great salary and interesting space and problems to work on.
Does not trust developers nor their experience, and requires over-validating and extremely scrutinous review processes.
Fear of breaking all games for every change.
Delegate more. Communicate broader goals from the top and delegate. Don't overrule the tech from the top down. Provide support when the teams don't get it, rather than pulling the rug out from under them.
Normalize engineering titles. It's basically a joke to come in as a senior software engineer, be paid at the high end of the industry, but basically be made into a mid- to junior-level IC.
