Interesting projects.
Great UR team (lots of virtual intern events).
I had a good mentor experience and learned a lot.
Great pay.
Fully remote, pay not adjusted for location.
Since it was virtual, I didn't get to meet anyone in person (this may be a pro for some people).
There was a 50% return offer rate (so if you're thinking about anything other than definitely returning the following summer, you won't get one).
Management changed the return offer process at the last minute (while interviewing, we were told the return offer rate was 80%). The process was not transparent at all. Managers weren't able to tell us if we were on track for one during the internship.
More transparency with the return offer process.
Very interesting OA. The interview is two LC Medium to Hards with extension problems, and the pretty standard behavioral afterwards. The technical portion has engineers working with you, while the behavioral portion is usually a manager of some sort.
The code questions felt like 2 easy and 2 medium LeetCode problems with limited time. There were also two interactive Roblox games that felt like IQ tests. The whole process took multiple hours and felt like overkill.
I didn’t get it, but I liked how they made me play games to see how I think. Then they conducted a technical interview, which was pretty difficult. After that, you do a personality check. It’s a lot, but I appreciated how thorough it was. You definit
