Roblox had a good work-life balance, and people were always nice. Dave has an amazing vision for the company and inspires employees. Everyone believes in the work we are doing, and everyone has a voice in town hall meetings. Values are taken very seriously and are often discussed as well as applied in day-to-day decisions.
Management had some issues. My hiring manager never had a 1:1 with me (and I was never made aware we were supposed to meet twice a week).
Additionally, my project was scrapped at the end due to an oversight that my mentor admitted should not have happened. The path to success is also unclear.
I was told I was on track for a return offer during midpoint with no negative feedback. However, two weeks before the end date, rumors floated that upper management wanted to cap return offers at 50%, and I ended up not getting a return offer.
My mentor said that they would have given me an offer if it was up to them, and employees complained during the town hall meeting. Furthermore, we weren't told what we were being assessed on until the end.
