After a couple of days, a recruiter called. This call lasted 20 minutes and included typical questions about past experience, visa status, and salary expectations.
HackerRank test: Two programming questions.
30-minute technical interview: Very basic questions on JS, and .Net questions that were more mid-level. Nothing complicated if you have at least a few years of full-stack experience.
On-site interview: Travel, accommodation, lunch, and a city tour were provided, which was very nice.
Interview: 1 hour. Not a single technical question was asked; it was all situational and behavioral questions. There was a lot of talking. I can build a full-blown web app from top to bottom with all the latest technologies. I feel this is where things get complicated, and they have some ISAMS. They are looking for candidates who fit their culture. After a few days, the recruiter followed up, saying he received positive feedback from the interviewers. A few days later, he called to say I didn't make the cut. I asked for the reason, and he said my salary expectation was too high.
I felt very positive about this position but am unsure if my answers met my salary expectations. Overall, a positive experience with no offer. This may not be the case for everyone, so good luck.
Behavioral: Past experience, difficult situations, learning from mistakes, missing deadlines, etc.
Typical behavioral and HR stuff.
