The strangest interview process
I applied online on Jan 23. Feb 4, a phone call with a recruiter. Feb 6, an online HackerRank. Feb 16, technical interview with an Engineering Manager and a Senior Software Engineer. Feb 18, EQ + IQ assessment. Feb 23, interview with the CTO. Mar 5, I received a final decision from Rokt.
After that much time, they came to a final decision: Rokt had hired 4 Senior Software Engineers and they did not know what to do due to the lack of NYC vs. Sydney timezone coordination and communication. Therefore, Rokt decided to postpone my offer. Rokt needs to hire for higher positions (Tech Lead, Team Lead) before any more Senior Software Engineers.
This wasted my time and their time. Please keep this in mind when you apply for this position.
Also, I am still seeing them actively posting jobs and recruiting, so I'm not sure what they are up to.
