The people, but there isn't much left with a lot of us made redundant.
Don’t be fooled by all the glowing 5-star reviews; many of them are clearly written by management or HR as a self-congratulatory pat on the back. If you take a closer look at the 1-star reviews, you’ll notice a pattern: overworked staff, high turnover, a toxic culture masked by surface-level perks, and leadership that values image over actual employee wellbeing.
The reality is that Rokt has a deeply toxic work environment. Feedback is not welcomed unless it’s praise, favoritism runs rampant, and leadership is disconnected from the actual challenges employees face. There’s a heavy emphasis on “culture,” but it’s more about optics than substance.
Take the 1-star reviews seriously. They’re the ones that reflect what working at Rokt is really like.
Stop writing your own reviews and start listening to the real feedback from employees who are burning out under unrealistic expectations and toxic leadership.
Instead of focusing on maintaining a polished image, take accountability for the culture you've created.
Transparency, humility, and real support for your teams would go a lot further than curated Glassdoor praise.
Start earning trust instead of manufacturing it.
The process began with an IQ and EQ test. After clearing that, I was invited to an AI video interview where I was asked, “What’s a product or project you’re very proud of?” A few days later, I received an email inviting me to the next round, a 45-mi
They gave an assessment. I heard back, which I didn't expect, but they gave me a rejection. I appreciated that I was at least told; not a lot of companies do that.
It was an extremely long process. It took like two months from the beginning to the end. I never got a formal rejection email. Also, the recruiter would not respond to emails. The company culture seems terrible.
