Senior Software Engineer Interview Experience - San Jose, California
Process
I hate interviewing, but I really enjoyed interviewing at Roku.
The process started with a technical phone screen and ended with a virtual onsite (via Zoom) that consisted of 3 technical interviews and 2 discussions (one with a product manager and another with a senior engineering leader).
The interview felt less like an interview and more like a challenging day at work. I was able to run my code, and the questions were not taken from LeetCode.
The recruiter, Michelle, was very responsive, transparent, and encouraging.
I finished interviewing on Tuesday and received a decision on Thursday.
