I interviewed for two different roles, so I went through the same interview process twice and failed both. After an initial call with the recruiter, they booked two technical tests. The format is everything you wouldn't want to go through: live coding on HackerRank, focusing on purely algorithmic exercises.
This is the kind of test that will make you look incredibly smart if you get the initial inspiration (assuming you manage to code something decent on an online IDE without access to your shortcuts or documentation) or incredibly stupid if you get stuck. It doesn't prove you can code or do the job, whether you pass it or not.
On the second test, the interviewer was also completely uninterested in what I was doing, turning off his video and going completely on mute for several minutes. No feedback of any sort has been provided, and I haven't heard anything at all from the recruiters either.
