Process

There were a total of five interview rounds, all well-structured and conducted professionally.

The rounds included:

  • DSA
  • System Design
  • Hiring Manager
  • Problem Solving (includes LLD + DSA)
  • Director Round

All rounds went quite well. I was able to answer all questions clearly and confidently. After completing all rounds, HR shared positive feedback from three of them, indicating a strong performance.

However, HR mentioned that the final decision was on hold due to a pending review from the hiring manager.

Despite multiple follow-ups over the next three weeks, I eventually received a rejection email with no explanation or feedback. I reached out to HR multiple times for clarity but received no response. Later, I was informed informally that the team was looking for someone with more years of experience.

If experience was a key deciding factor, it should have been considered before proceeding with the interview process. My experience was clearly stated on the resume. Such decisions after multiple rounds not only waste the company's time but also the candidate's time, effort, and emotional investment.
