I normally don't do reviews, but I was compelled to given the suspicious amount of good reviews that have been pouring in lately. Recruiting/HR shills?
Pros?
Well, there is a good amount of employee talent. One of the most diverse groups of individuals I've had the pleasure to work with. The free snacks are plentiful as well. Interesting problems and a fun product in a hot space at the moment.
No salary reviews, bonus, and a heavily diluted stock. Health plan(s) weren't that good and were costly to employees.
Kind of a 'too little, too late' story for Roku. If this were 2012, I'd be more optimistic. But now with Amazon, Google, and Apple in the fray, it's time to cue up the swan song.
IPO? More management by stick and carrot. If I had a dime for every time I heard the word "IPO."
