Technical documentation is lacking, however the situation is improving.
The company is growing fast. There is a lot of knowledge among people, but it's not in documentation. This makes it difficult to bring up new hires. However, people are helpful, and so far, it has worked nicely.
The process is thin, which is good and bad at the same time.
In my opinion, some improvement in process is required while the company is growing so that we can handle growth.
Two different technical recruiters from Roku emailed me multiple times regarding an opening. I scheduled an interview with one, and he called me in the middle of his jogging (or at least, that's how it seemed to me). After explaining the 'next steps,
The interview process is split into two parts. The first part is a chat with HR to learn a bit about the company. The second part is a technical interview with the group you will be working with.
Applied via referral. The hiring manager reached out, and we had an online interview. I never heard back from the recruiter afterwards. This did not give me a lot of confidence in the company, so I accepted another offer.
