Pros

Some of the best and easygoing coworkers. A handful of talented people.

Cons

The worst top management ever.

Instead of setting goals and expectations for employees, the mafia-style management relies on spying and back door dirty tricks. Sometimes I feel like I am being watched by the KGB.

Watch out for the people in your meeting who are not part of your regular team. If they are taking notes, they are taking notes on you and your team members for the upper management. Watch out for that nice Asian lady.

One of the senior software directors has so many complaints against him, but HR doesn't do a thing. It sure seems like he might be suffering from some sort of mental disorder. Watch out for his mood swings. He displays some really creepy and weird behavior in meetings.

Meetings with the CEO and Q&A for new employees are 100% staged. There is zero chance of promotion and career advancement.

Very dysfunctional and unprofessional top management. Very unprofessional behavior by the executive team in team meetings.

Many talented and bright people are routinely let go just because they dare to voice their concerns or suggest doing things more efficiently. This is the first company I have come across where people lose their jobs despite the fact they are doing a great job.

Diluted stocks.

  • No 401K matching.
  • No raises.
  • Health-care plans are expensive.

I see Roku going down the drain, the same way as GoPro.

Unlimited vacations, but don't worry, you won't have time to take time off.

Just say no, unless you are in danger of dying hungry.
