This was a very unprofessional and the worst recruiting and interview experience. I was recently interviewed by Salesforce for the Lead / Senior DevOps Engineer position.
I had a total of 6 rounds and a panel interview. The recruiter did not provide me with any details about what these rounds would entail.
The first round consisted of technical questions, and I performed very well.
The second round was with the Hiring Manager for 30 minutes, and it was very unprofessional. The Hiring Manager joined 10 minutes late, was very brief, and asked if I had any questions, leaving only 5 minutes remaining.
The remaining rounds were 1-hour behavioral rounds.
One interviewer did not seem to have any idea what he was supposed to ask and lacked eye contact. The final panel interview with two members was very intimidating.
After all 6 rounds, I never received any response. They did not have the courtesy to provide feedback.
This was very unprofessional, and they should recognize that our time is also valuable. There are other smaller companies that are doing great work and providing feedback.
