Site Reliability Engineer Interview Experience - Dublin, Ireland

November 1, 2021
Neutral ExperienceNo Offer

Process

The interview process was straightforward and took nearly two months to complete. Overall, the interview itself was quite easy, with no difficult questions. This position felt more like a NOC Engineer role than an SRE. It didn't seem to require technical expertise, appearing more like a support job.

After six interviews, I was told I was too technical for the team. I was informed they would reach out about other positions, but I haven't heard anything. It appears that was an empty promise.

While I was happy with the interview experience itself, the company's reputation has significantly declined. I would not recommend technically savvy individuals apply, as they may find they've wasted their time on this interview process.
