Process

I had a first interview with the recruiter to check if my requirements could be met and if this was a serious application.

Then, I had a 1-hour video interview with the manager of the team. We discussed many things and went through my résumé. It wasn't technical, but rather a long chat that actually lasted 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Next, I had a technical interview with two members of the team via voice chat, which was 1 hour long. We spoke about more technical topics, and I had to do a small role-play to "debug" a situation.

Finally, I heard back from the recruiter with a final proposal.

These steps took less than two weeks. I then had another week to sort out the specifics of the contract and have everything signed.

Questions

A role-play of an incident occurring on a cloud provider platform that prevents new instances from booting.
