I was given the task to write a complete automation script to automate an end-to-end feature using Selenium.
I completed that on time and wrote a complete Page Object Model framework along with TestNG.
After that, I had a code review for the same framework, which went very well.
Three days later, I received a call from HR mentioning that I had been selected for the position and discussed the offer.
Now, what is the logic behind a company like Salesforce offering me a CTC that is lower than my current CTC? I have been working on the same package for the last year, and the reason I was given is that they are only offering me an AMTS role. I understand that profiles differ from organization to organization, but how can someone join on a lesser package?
If they had told me that I would have to work for a lesser package, I wouldn't have wasted my three days writing and developing the framework.
