Process

The process began with an initial phone interview with a dev manager, followed by a remote coding test that took about two hours to complete. After passing the remote coding test, candidates were invited for a day of on-site interviews.

The whole process was slower than expected, which was a little frustrating at first. However, after asking my recruiter for more frequent follow-ups, she did a great job of keeping me informed until the very end.

On the on-site interview day, I had five interviews:

  • Two focused on small coding problems.
  • One involved technical questions about programming and design.
  • Another focused on designing a solution or API.
  • The final interview was behavioral but with a technical focus, asking questions like, "What was a hard issue that you had to debug recently?"

Overall, they aimed to make the experience as pleasant as a full-day interview can be. The lunch was dedicated to meeting the team, which was quite nice and helpful in understanding the working environment and culture.
