I applied through my school's co-operative education portal. I had an hour-long technical interview, which included algorithmic, conceptual, and design questions.
I had a good experience, as my interviewer liked to work back and forth with me to explore questions. For example, after I explained a solution, I would offer my opinion on how to optimize it if we relaxed some constraint, or introduce an error bound.
The exchange throughout the interview was really fun, and I exited feeling more relaxed than when I entered.
Implement on the whiteboard a solution to a basic combinatorics-related algorithm question.
Design on the whiteboard a data structure with the following requirements and explore various implementation's tradeoffs between space and speed:
Explain how you would implement "Word Count".
Explain various concepts related to operating systems.
After conversing with my interviewer, since I knew what a Bloom filter was and other sketch data structures, I was asked to explain how a Bloom filter works.
