Software Engineering Interview Experience - San Francisco, California
Process
I was referred by a returning intern and had a 90-minute technical phone interview.
After about a week, I received an invitation for an onsite interview in SF. We were a total of 8 candidates, 3 of whom were grad students.
After a brief introduction to the company and a talk with the Engineering VP, I had a technical interview with an engineer and a behavioral interview with the Engineering VP, each lasting one hour.
After that, we had dinner with two relatively new employees so we could ask them more questions.
Questions
Sort a list of numbers by the frequency of each number in the list, then optimize it.
Go in extreme depth into a project on my resume.
