Software Engineer (Internship) Interview Experience
Process
I submitted my resume at a university career fair.
After a week, I received an online coding challenge on HackerRank.
Two weeks later, I was contacted by a recruiter for an interview. The interview was conducted by an engineer on Google Meet.
There were hardly any coding questions asked during the interview. It consisted of behavioral questions, along with some questions on operating systems and computer networks. There was just one short question on Data Structures. The engineer was interviewing specifically for his team and did not discuss the skills I had mentioned throughout my resume.
