Good salary, good benefits. These two are the only good things for me.
No stocks. I was working on a startup company that was later acquired by Salesforce.
The day of the acquisition, we started suffering all the stupid, nonsense bureaucratic processes that they have.
From the engineer's perspective, they have custom things for everything, from bug tracking systems to monitoring and deployment, and all of them are terrible.
From the "employee" point of view, no matter how hard you work, how well you can code, and the systems you make, they only care about documents, presentations, showing off, and being an apple-polisher to the people above you, since your promotion is decided by people who do not know you (yes, crazy, right).
If you are not like that, there is no way to get a promotion.
The product managers (at least in the division I was working) do not know the products, do not participate in meetings, do not create stories, etc. You need to do all their work, and they take the credit for that.
All the "Ohana" and open, friendly, caring culture is an absolute lie. I am part of a minority race, and I made complaints to a former director who had made life miserable for me and many others, and they never did anything.
The interview process was fast. I first spoke with the Hiring Manager, who assessed my experience and job fit. Following the Hiring Manager, a team of four interviewed me individually. I enquired about the problems the team is trying to solve. Ques
The interview process was really smooth. Overall, it was a good experience. Below are the details about the rounds: 1. Online coding: Two coding questions were asked. 2. Problem-solving: This round involved a medium-difficulty coding question relate
I applied through a recruiter. The process took approximately 3 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (Hyderabad) in Sep 2022. * Coding round: 2 questions were asked on HackerRank. There was no need to run the code; you just needed to write the code
