Pros
  • Flexible work schedule/location (work remotely when needed)
  • Paid volunteer days
  • On-site cafes and baristas
  • Equality leader in terms of making sure everyone is compensated fairly, regardless of race or gender
  • Continuing to grow at a rapid pace (Revenue)
  • Dreamforce
  • Great parental leave (up to 6 months paid)
  • Access to decent training tools versus many other companies out there
  • Supportive of internal rotations, regardless of background. You can go from engineering to marketing to finance if you are interested.
Cons

Not many – just the lack of a free lunch. They do have snacks, such as yogurt, fruit, eggs, peanut butter, and oatmeal.

Daycare could be discounted more, but for something that is already in extreme demand, you'd have an even larger backlog.

Advice to Management
  1. Make sure you are scaling accordingly from a headcount standpoint. At times, it seems like hiring too much.

  2. More specific maybe to certain orgs, but SVPs and above, plan out short and long-term vision/direction completely, versus prematurely announcing half-baked plans.
