Compensation is up to industry standard. Apart from that, there is nothing good about Salesforce.

1. Documentation heavy - Actual work takes 2 days, but documentation takes a week.
2. Same information has to be updated at least 5 different documents.
3. No work-life balance. As per management, it's an IC's responsibility.
4. No respect for engineers. "Do what we are asking you to do, we are paying you a handsome salary, or let's have a 1-1." Get used to hearing these statements in every town hall.
5. As per VPs, the solution to every problem is team collaboration and documentation.
6. As per management, everything is an IC's responsibility - creating visibility, communicating and convincing all stakeholders, updating and providing status to higher management.
7. Leaders always use a threatening tone - do the work and do not raise any voice, or we have to let you go.
8. No career growth.
9. Don't even think about joining Industries Cloud - you won't be allowed for internal movement. They won't even allow you to send the last working day email.

1. Ask managers to take some responsibility.
2. Work-life balance is not only an IC's responsibility.
3. Managers are dumb; they don't even question what their superiors are asking them to do.
