Compensation. They pay well, but the bullsh#t isn't worth the pay. I could deal with it for about a year. I was just killing time after that till my options vested and then got out. Terrible place to work.
Politics. Lots of it. Backstabbing. Lots of it. Lots of egos that think that they're God's gift to the world.
That's what created the dot-com boom/bust, and that's what will do in this company.
It's just software, people... get a grip.
They like to hire contractors to "shadow" full-time people and threaten to replace you with the contractor if you didn't do exactly what they want.
