Pros

Salesforce Marketing Cloud: good organisation overall, innovative products, great vision; and very professional and friendly colleagues.

Cons

From the Professional Services Department point of view, there is a lack of opportunities for internal promotions, as management seems to prefer hiring externally most of the time rather than giving a chance to employees who have been developing themselves very hard for the next opportunity.

There is a lack of support for professional development, with a significant slowdown in investing in external trainings and certifications.

There is a lack of transparency towards the consultants, who get updated at the last minute about internal changes.

There is quite some room for improvement with regards to resource management, as consultants are unclear on what they are meant to be working a week ahead or in terms of priorities, and are demanded to go the extra mile every time.

Finally, there are buggy new products that take several years to get almost fixed.

Advice to Management

Raising the standard is great. Having everyone engaged and willing to support is even better. Giving a chance to progress to people that are trying hard and have a lot of experience to share should be taken into consideration.
