really nice people to work with. Lots of opportunities to learn. Nice benefits. Good life/work balance. Good working space.
Employees are not valued.
I was offered a full-time position six months in advance after completing a four-month internship, but they ended the contract two weeks before the start date as they decided to relocate the team to another country. Because of that, I must mention they ended the contract of 20 other people working in the team. All had to look for a new job.
They only offered one month's salary as compensation, nothing more. I had already paid for new accommodation where I was a guarantor for two other people. I brought proof; they didn't care. And this is how people end up in the streets (unless you can find a job in one week or have savings). So much for the OHANA spirit they are so proud of!
Value your employees.
I had one interview until now, with the hiring manager. He asked about my CV and how I work, how I take on tasks, and how I handle them when I don't know how to do something. In addition, he asked what interests me at work.
The interview was decent until they gave the programming question. The programming question was very hard. It was the hardest that I've ever gotten. I still don't know how to solve it. ChatGPT gives some ideas; maybe I will check them sometime, but I
Quick and to the point. Simple process. Typical interview from my understanding. Nothing more really to it. Apply, get an interview set up, do it, and that's it. Could have a little more communication.
