I applied through college or university.
I met with SambaNova Systems at a career fair at my university. After submitting my resume, they asked me for an interview. My first interview didn't go very well. The interviewer had an energy that threw me off and made me nervous. They asked me some basic Python questions, like something you would see in LeetCode. I had a hard time following directions because of my nerves.
They said to get the job, there would be a second interview similar to the first and a final interview where you would be asked questions by five different engineers in 45-minute intervals. I didn't get the second interview, but I wasn't surprised.
It was a Python question asking about string manipulation.
