The company is huge, so the work that you're on is likely to make a big impact in the real world. The company kind of carries/pushes you forward. You'll learn big-business know-how and work with talented people. It's the biggest and one of the best companies in Korea. I personally made some really good friends while I was there.
Pay isn't all that high (you can't negotiate pay), and bonus depends a lot on the company's performance. Hours can be very bad at times, with little to no consideration for work/life balance. The promotion culture is "first come first serve" with a strict hierarchy.
But it's getting better!! The company improved so much during my time there.
Lack of work/life balance drives people away.
It wasn't that bad. The interview was about an hour long, and it took like a month to hear back from Samsung. But it was worth the wait, and the pay was good.
Good. They asked about basic stuff in electronics and aptitude for a semiconductor role. The aptitude test was electrical and electronic-based. That is all. All the best to you.
Pretty good. Nothing I couldn't handle. I had prepared well, so it was sort of a walk in the park. Pretty good. Nothing I couldn't handle. I had prepared well, so it was sort of a walk in the park.
