Good work (Usual Disclaimer: Depends on the project) Greater impact (Think of your code being used by millions of people in the world) Good salary and good perks when compared with other competitors Easy and faster growth in technical roles if you are competent
No superstars to look up to or inspire. (Can be pros as well; you can be one easily after convincing HQ).
Thinking of HQ (Korea) as customers and not as peers. (Mainly because of old-timers).
Not a place for people who aspire to be hackers to stay long, but a good place to start with.
Start to own the product launches. Get out of the "Koreans are our customer" attitude; this is not an outsourcing division.
Provide more work-life balance. There is always improvement.
I was called by the recruiter. The initial screening was through a telephonic interview. It consisted of usual Java questions, a couple of questions on threads, data structures, etc. This was followed by a face-to-face onsite interview at Bangalore.
There were two rounds of technical interviews followed by one managerial round. The questions started with my CV and turned out to be more of discussions rather than defined question-and-answer sessions.
One written round was followed by one technical round, which was not more than 30 minutes. After that, there was one HR round, which was very casual. The overall process was completed in 1 hour and 30 minutes.
