Pros

Good benefits. Good job security: underperformed, full-time employees barely get fired. Competitive salary (depends on department's revenue, which is good for each year).

Cons

No successful software platform projects one can develop. Poor IT system. Poor software development culture. Loss of productivity due to security policies, especially at HQ (Korean offices). Many colleagues with horrible skills (some don't even know how to code). Most managers don't know about tech, but they manage projects. When it comes to promotion, how many years of experience you have matters more than your achievements or skills.
