Developer Associate Interview Experience - Brno, Czech Republic
Process
The interview process consisted of three rounds.
First, HR provided a quick rundown and verified the information on the resume. They also asked about expected salary and availability to start work.
The second round was with the development manager, where we discussed the work environment and team dynamics.
The third round involved the development manager and the team leader of the recruiting team. This was a more technical interview. I was given a LeetCode problem to solve and then asked to explain a portion of their legacy code to the best of my ability.
Questions
Explain a part of their legacy code as best I could.
Given a string s containing just the characters '(', ')', '{', '}', '[' and ']', determine if the input string is valid.
An input string is valid if:
- Open brackets must be closed by the same type of brackets.
- Open brackets must be closed in the correct order.
- Every closing bracket has a corresponding open bracket of the same type.
