SAP Ariba Palo Alto Campus
I was initially contacted by HR after applying online.
The telephonic round went fine. It mainly covered Java/Data Structures, conceptual questions, resume-based technical questions, and company/product overview. At the end of the phone interview, I was invited for an onsite interview by the interviewer.
Onsite:
The overall onsite interview went fine. The duration was around 4 hours. Each interviewer focused on different areas, such as coding skills, scenario-based problem-solving, automation frameworks, and my resume. I had a whiteboarding coding exercise involving 5 programs. The coding part went well, although I only completed half of one program. For the scenario-based coding, I completed most segments, including test framework design and code, applying multi-threading for verification, defining the main transaction function, and interacting with the test framework.
Feedback Phase:
After spending half a day on the onsite interview and taking a day off, any candidate would expect feedback or a response. HR was the only point of contact, as advised by the hiring team. HR did not provide any feedback via email or phone call. As a reputed company, I did not expect such an outcome where no response is given after an onsite interview.
I have since accepted an offer from another technology leader, a Fortune 100 company.
Coding: Sorting, Searching, String, Array, HashMap, Multithreading, and programming questions related to banking transactions.
Technical Questions: Based on resume and work experience (Product Architecture), specific feature end-to-end flow, usage, verification, and automation.
