OA: 2 Coding questions (easy-medium)

Interview Rounds:

• Technical Interview (45-60 min)
• Managerial Round (30-45 min)
• HR (20-40 min)

Tech Round 1:

• Introduction
• Project Explanation
• Deep dive into C/C++ questions (7-10 conceptual concepts)
• Computer Fundamentals (7-8 questions)
• 2 basic HR questions: "What is your long-term and short-term goal?", "Strength, weakness, etc."

Round 2:

• Introduction
• Tree questions: "Find the width of the tree." Then, I was asked to write the code and create the tree structure (like in a LeetCode comment section).
• Discussed Time Complexity (TC) and Space Complexity (SC), why, and how to optimize.
• Deep dive into my CV.
• Some OS concepts.
• "Design how Zerodha works" (System Design for Zerodha), then asked to create an Object Diagram for it, including cardinality.
• Synchronization in OS.
• What is a tree, a graph, the difference between a linked list and an array, heap, heapify.
• Asked about Cache.
• Types of Cache.
• What is LRU Cache.
• Draw a system design for a Cache (I tried, but it was not satisfactory).
• Which data structure is used in a Cache?
• Why is it used? Explain briefly.
• What is a red-black tree?
• What are ACID properties? Tell me everything.
• What is an Abstract Class?
• One SQL question on Outer Join (I answered).
• One binary search question about a pivot point.
• Asked to code that (the interviewer was satisfied).

Round 3:

• Managerial Round - Situation-Based Questions.

Round 4:

• "Why SAP?"
• Full form of SAP.
• SAP products.
• "Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?"
• Some random questions about my academics.

Offline Interview: Out of 59 candidates selected for the interview, 9 students were selected (6M + FTE).
